All in all I am very happy with the purchase and highly recommend it. We had two adults and two tweens sitting in four chairs. All (plus the dog) were comfortably shaded. The tent allows full breezes through. As noted below, our shelter survived a steady wind that knocked down all but the sturdiest equipment.Pros: Made by Kelty. Has all of the quality you expect from them including sturdy seams and poles. - Can be set up by one person. The secret is to insert the two main poles before you attach the tent to the pole ends. Attach the upwind pole end last and be prepared to stake it immediately. Then hit the other corners and attach guy lines. - Light weight, relative to the pop ups - With proper guy lines, survived a day when almost all umbrellas and many of the pop up shelters came down from the wind. - Take down also a one person job (need to leave the upwind guy line and stake attached until... This shelter was easy to set up (about the same time as a sand screw and beach umbrella), provided good sun protection and great stability in strong breezes. We could fit about 6 beach chairs under the shelter with additional gear. Many people stopped and asked us where we got it. This made our vacation since a family of fair-skinned people completely avoided sunburn! great product and highly recommend. I have to say there are some definite differences in the products.For this new Kelty Hula Shadehouse, the first thing I noticed were the poles. Metal, hollow poles touted to be an aluminum mix versus thick, fiberglass poles for the sunshade. Not too sure how these poles will do under some weather, as the sunshade survived an insane storm with 40+mph winds. Had some fractures post-storm in the poles, but sent them to Kelty for free warranty replacement. I hope this shadehouse will weather storms well too, hopefully though we will get it down in time before the storms hit. When I put up the shadehouse too for the first time, realize the poles get super hot, super quick. Black metal in full sun? Yeah, definitely hot to the touch.
